This groundbreaking rock musical took Broadway by storm in 1996, winning multiple Tony Awards. It follows a year in the lives of of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side in the thriving days of the Bohemian East Village. Includes such favorites as "Seasons of Love, "Light My Candle", and "No Day But Today".

Directed by the well renowned San Diego actress and director, Leigh Scarritt, and featuring some of the most talented young performers in San Diego including several winners of the 2009 National Youth Theatre Award.


 

Actors' Conservatory Theatre (ACT - San Diego) is an exciting new theatre company for young people.  ACT - San Diego's mission is to provide educational and artistic opportunities to young actors to perform, act and learn the art of stagecraft in a fun, satisfying, yet highly professional environment.  This shall be accomplished by teaching, practicing and performing live theatre with youth who are interested in learning and becoming more involved in stage acting.

ACT produces youth theatre productions of the highest quality to be found
in San Diego with a production staff led by professional directors and choreographers.
